The Tamarack Muncipal Association has announced it's plan to open the main lifts to the top of the mountain starting December 15th. Skiing will be available Thursday through Sunday. Additionally the lifts will be open everyday during the December Holiday period, during Spring Break, as well as for Monday holidays in January and February. The snowshoe and nordic trails will be available. A winter wonderland awaits you in Valley County. While Skiing at Tamarack won't be avaiable everyday there will still be plenty to do. Brundage Mountain will be open everyday. Brundage is a great ski hill just 8 miles north of McCall. The nearby Activity Barn offers tubing for the whole family. Snowmobile tours and rentals are also available. Snowmobiling is not permitted in the areas where the homes in Tamarack are but you can park your trailer at the entrance and enjoy your snow machine on the extensive groomed snowmobile trail system in Valley County with nearby trail heads.

This season there are two eating establishments avaiable for you to enjoy including two bars. Accommodating up to 10 guests is this Trillium Townhome. The Trillium homes offer the highest finish level of any resort built property to date. This spacious three bedroom, three and one half bath home is located directly on across from the multi-purpose access trail. Two bedrooms with king beds, the third bedroom with two twin bunks and a queen sofa bed in the living room provide accommodations for up to 10 guests, making this not only one of our most luxurious resort built homes but one of the best values too! Idaho Resort Rentals offers the "Bitterroot" chalet as one of its most comfortable homes. At 2400 square feet, this is one of the largest three bedroom resort built homes available for lodging in Tamarack Resort. The first floor of the chalet features a large kitchen with a separate breakfast dining area, a large dining room, a luxurious master suite and a vaulted beamed ceiling living room. Upstairs has family room with a sleeper sofa, one bedroom with an King bed and private bath, and a second bedroom with two twin beds and a private bath.

The Owyhee is a two bedroom, two and a half bath Cottage styled with a rustic elegance. Sleeping accommodations are available for up to 7 adults. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom a queen bed as well as a twin daybed in some homes. The second bedroom has a private bath. The living rooms are equipped with a queen sofa-bed.

The Golden Bar and Clearwater townhomes offer great access to the trails. Choose from two bedroom or three bedroom homes with a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. A wood burning fireplace and private hot tub are amenities that make this the perfect Tamarack Mountain getaway. While this is our most affordable option at Tamarack, it still has all the luxury you would expect with granite kitchen counter tops and fine home furnishings.

For a larger gathering try his luxurious estate home home that sleeps 12 with 4 bedrooms. Located in the Discovery estates neighborhood, the home offers excellent trail access all year round. This home features a private hot tub and covered deck with a gas BBQ.
